Applied Wireless Identifications Group, Inc. Supply Chain Management Division aka SCM div. is a global RFID technology provider. We design and manufacture RFID modules for OEM’s, finished readers for mobile and fixed mount requirements as well as specialty RFID tags.
Our 1 watt modules come in three types: Single Port, Duel Port and Octal Port. These modules use RS232 communications and offer Digital I/O.
Our Readers come in two families: Value Priced MPR-2010 and the “yet to be released” Fully Featured MPR-3014. Check back with AWID for a future release date for this Reader.
The 2010 family is an integral reader/patch antenna with limited power output at 0.6 watts. This reader is available with GPI/O and RS232 communications or with an add-on converter to Ethernet TCP/IP. The typical read range expectation is 1 to 3 meters depending on tag and tag mount characteristics.
The 3014 family is a reader with interchangeable remote mountable antennas and capable of a full watt of broadcast power. It offers mono-static or bi-static antennas in a quad or octal antenna array setup. The reader has GPI/O as well as Ethernet, USB, and RS232 communication options all included. The reader also has a fully featured WinCE microprocessor built in for no extra cost. This reader has a typical read range of 1 to 6 meters depending on tag and tag mount characteristics.
Our tags are available in three standard types: Metal Mount, Windshield Mount, and ID badge. All these tags are passive C1G2 compliant.
